JOANN SAGARAL is a digital and acrylic artist focused on community. Reliant on neighborhood culture and Stockton’s renaissance, SAGARAL can be spotted on sidewalks and in coffee shops jotting down notes.She has been featured on CBS Morning in conjunction with the PREVAIL 729 N. California St. youth center beautification project, alongside The Mission Continues and Stockton Leadership Class of 2025. She is an active member of The Stockton Art League and the Elsie May Goodwin Gallery.She holds a B.S. in Food Science with a minor in Packaging Technology from California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo, California. When it comes to the visual arts, she is self-taught.She currently resides in Stockton, CA.

JOANN has experience with large-format interactive art pieces as well as intimate group settings. Her most recent community involvement was with the Stockton-based art collective InnerG at the HATCH. Her whiteboard piece “BILLBOARDS” was drawn on by dozens of participants at InnerG’s anniversary event on Oct. 3, 2025, celebrating 8 years of self-expression and holding space for all creatives.
